Businessman, Veteran Davis Announces Bid for Erie Co. Executive
But he believes his 16 years in the army and navy, and experience owning a construction business, will help him succeed, if elected Erie County Executive.
“I’m running on a platform of fiscal responsibility, but also properly managing our funds,” said Davis during his announcement Saturday at VFW Post #470, Erie.
It’s the alleged misuse of county funds that’s the driving force behind the Greene Township resident’s campaign, one he’s running right now, as an independent. Davis outlined his plan to create jobs, combat blight, and reduce property taxes for Erie County seniors making less than $60,000 a year.
